
Melissa Lindholm
Melissa Lindholm is a research analyst fellow with GOPB’s Planning Coordination Pillar. Prior to leaving the workforce for an extended period to raise children, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Bryn Mawr College in 2006 and worked as a geologist on mineral exploration and mining projects in Alaska, New Mexico, Arizona, and Ontario, as well as at the Carlsbad Field Office of the Bureau of Land Management. In April of 2026, she will finish a Certificate of Proficiency in Geospatial Analysis from Weber State University.
Melissa loves hiking, camping, exploring Utah with her family, and making maps.
