Chris Boone

Chris Boone is the budget and policy analyst for higher education within the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget. He previously served as an analyst for social services, executive offices, and criminal justice agencies, where he worked on budget development, performance evaluation, and policy analysis. Chris earned both his bachelor’s degree in political science and his master’s degree in public policy from the University of Utah.

Chris grew up in California and made Utah his home after moving to Utah in high school. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching football and basketball, and reading in his free time.
