Benjamin Beutler

Benjamin joined GOPB in 2025. His budget assignment is focused on criminal justice agencies. Prior to joining GOPB, he was an Assistant Director for the Joint Legislative Budget Committee, the Arizona equivalent to the Office of the Legislative Fiscal Analyst.

Besides working for the Arizona Legislature for seven years, Benjamin also worked eight years for several Arizona cities, serving as a police officer in Phoenix, the budget manager in Peoria, and the budget director in Tempe.

Benjamin is a certified public finance officer with the Government Finance Officers Association and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from BYU along with a master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Utah.
