Logan Waechtler is an Operations Analyst in the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget, where he assists state agencies with optimizing processes and implementing changes to enhance efficiencies and impact. He graduated from the University of Utah with a dual master’s degree in public administration and public health. He also holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science from the University of Utah. He currently serves as an adjunct instructor in public health at Utah Valley University and has a background in research, having collaborated on various projects related to women’s, infant, and child health. 

Previously, Logan worked as a program and operations director for a small nonprofit dedicated to education on women’s health issues. From 2020 to 2023, he worked as an internal auditor for the Utah Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Agriculture and Food. In his latter role, he initiated the first internal audit program at the agency and instituted a formal enterprise risk management protocol. In his spare time, he enjoys writing and learning about dinosaurs. Above all else, he loves spending time with his wife and kids.
