All state agencies operate with limited resources but are expected to provide excellent service and high-quality outcomes for Utah residents. The GOPB Results Management team supports agencies by providing assistance in identifying and implementing opportunities to increase positive outcomes, find and eliminate sources of waste, reduce errors, and increase quality of service.
The Results Management team connects agencies with educational resources and provides advice and assistance, and through the Efficiency and Process Improvement Committee provides access to tools, consulting services, and training opportunities.
Additionally, in accordance with UCA 63J-1-904, a joint team of staff from the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget (GOPB) and the Office of the Legislative Fiscal Analyst (LFA) conduct efficiency evaluations with state agencies.
