Maddie Hair is a senior at the University of Utah and will graduate in May with an Honors Bachelor of Science. Her quadruple major includes economics, health society and policy, political science, and psychology, with a minor in applied ethics. Maddie aims to pursue a future Master’s Degree in Public Policy and/or a Juris Doctorate.

During high school and college, Maddie completed multiple internships, including a campaign internship for Boise Mayor Lauren McLean, a legislative internship for Andrew Stoddard, a research internship with the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys in Washington D.C., and a local consulting internship at Landslide Political. Maddie has held significant roles with the Hinckley Institute of Politics, most recently working as an ambassador and forum host. She has also been extensively involved with the UNITE Dignity Index Project, promoting dignified political conversations and reducing polarization, and currently serves as the president of Students for Dignity at the University of Utah.

Maddie is looking forward to a career in public service, aspiring to work at a think tank such as The Brookings Institution, in university administration, or as a policy analyst within government.
