fellows
"The fellowship program provides transformative opportunities for both personal and professional growth and learning. It's clear that GOPB is in the business of investing in Utah's new professionals." - Jackson Bolos, winter 2024 fellow
"GOPB was easily the most transformative work experience during my undergraduate years...The networking connections in the office are like no other. [They] worked intently to provide career exploration opportunities in every state agency." - Maddie Hair, winter 2024 fellow
The Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget’s six-month fellowship program helps individuals develop professional skills while gaining firsthand experience with state government. In the program, fellows integrate into one of GOPB’s four areas of focus: Budget & Operations, Policy & Economic Analysis, Planning & Coordination, or Results Management. Fellows will also gain exposure to the office as a whole and the partners with which the agency interacts.
