Tiffany Chan


Research Analyst Fellow

Tiffany is a research analyst fellow for the Governor's Office of Planning & Budget. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Utah with two honors bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Economics.

During undergrad, she served as the student body’s Vice President of University Relations. During her term, she wrote a resolution in support of the creation of the first Asian Cultural Center on campus, and the first of its kind in the state of Utah. Additionally, she served as the Vice Chair of the Campus Safety and Equity Advisory Council in the Utah System of Higher Education, where she collaborated with state and local policymakers, institutional leaders, partner organizations, and other student groups across the state. She has also been involved with her university's debate team, Sorenson Impact Center, Hinckley Institute of Politics, and Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute. She hopes to leverage her academic skills in research and writing to make a positive impact for the state.

Tiffany will be continuing her education at the University of Oxford as a masters student. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, and being active.
