Preston Francis

Preston Francis is a Fiscal Grant Manager with the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget (GOPB). Preston, a Utah native, was raised in Pleasant Grove. He attended Utah State University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Family Life Studies. He then went on to earn a master's degree from Western Governors University in Management and Leadership. 

 

Before accepting his role with GOPB, Preston began his career in the Department of Human Services. He held positions with both the Division of Services for People with Disabilities and the Office of Quality and Design where he advocated for underrepresented Utahns through quality control and contract compliance. Preston continues to be passionate about serving his fellow Utahns with GOPB. 

 

In his free time, Preston loves spending time with his wife and two rambunctious little boys. He also enjoys clinging to his youth by playing video games online with friends while eating more candy than he cares to admit.
