Kate Bradford is the budget and policy analyst for the State Board of Education. She holds a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Utah and a bachelor’s degree in political science and public policy from the University of Denver.
Prior to joining GOPB, Kate worked on a range of state policy issues in the public and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, she conducted tax policy research as a graduate assistant with the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute. She also worked as a research assistant in the Utah Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel, where she analyzed criminal justice, government operations, and education policy issues. Before that, she spent several years as a health policy analyst for the National Conference of State Legislatures.
Kate grew up in Sandy and loves exploring southern Utah, reading, and taking her pup on walks during her free time.
