Budget and Policy Analyst
James Bowman came to Utah from Kansas in 2013. After completing a master's degree from Brigham Young University's Romney Institute of Public Management, he joined the Governor's Office of Management and Budget where he works on the states internal services funds, regulatory agencies and the ever-changing world of public education.
Curiosity drives his investigative nature in public finance and drives him to find solutions to problems that arise. In his free time he helps manage his wife's art projects, goes road tripping, plays games and dabbles in guitar. He loves serving the people of Utah and hopes to create more value for every tax dollar invested.
